Automate cloning with a command-line tool to execute multiple operations without manual input, providing system administrators and IT professionals with enhanced efficiency and management capabilities.
Designed for every use case you can imagine. Enjoy fast, safe, and simple cloning from start to finish.
You may want to migrate Windows 10 or 11 from a traditional hard drive to an SSD for faster boot times, quicker program launches, and shorter game loading. System clone enables you to migrate only OS from HDD to SSD or another HDD without reinstalling Windows and programs, fully bootable and exactly like the original.
If your computer overheats, freezes often, or makes clicking or grinding noises, these are signs of hard drive failure. It's best to back up your data and replace the drive before it crashes completely. Cloning the old disk to a new one lets you safely and easily transfer your Windows system and files.
Cloning your important data as a complete backup and restoring it elsewhere is a reliable method for data protection of both individuals and businesses in case of data loss due to hardware failure, accidental deletion, or ransomware attacks.
SSDs are usually smaller than HDDs, so can you clone a larger hard drive to a smaller SSD? The answer is Yes, you still can accomplish larger to smaller disk cloning if the used space on the source hard disk is equal to or less than the storage capacity of target SSD.
Want to set up multiple new and same computers instead of installing OS and apps one by one manually? IT admin can set up a fully configured system and use disk cloning software to create multiple 1:1 copies and plug them in new computers, saving hours and ensuring consistent setup.
Works for program developers and IT professionals to clone partitions to create identical test environments for software testing or development purposes, allowing them to experiment without affecting the primary system and data.

Traditional spinning drives that use magnetic platters and a mechanical arm to read/write data.
Drives that uses NAND flash memory instead of moving parts. With faster read/write speeds, more durable and energy-efficient.
A HDD + SSD combo drive that combines an HDD with a small SSD cache for improved performance.
Compact storage cards of digital cameras, camcorders, phones and gaming consoles.
One of the most widely used portable storage devices, including USB flash drives, thumb drives and pen drives.
One of the most common interfaces for HDDs and SATA SSDs. Supported Versions: SATA I (1.5 Gbps), SATA II (3 Gbps), SATA III (6 Gbps) in desktops, laptops, and some external drives.
One of the most common interfaces for HDDs and SSDs. Supported versions: M.2 NVMe, U.2 NVMe, PCIe NVMe.
For high-performance SSDs and expansion cards. Supported M.2 and U.2 SSDs using the PCIe bus.
Common in servers, data centers and high-performance workstations. Supported versions: SAS-1.0, SAS-2.0, SAS-3.0, SAS-4.0.
For external HDDs and SSDs (USB 2.0, 3.0, 3.1, 3.2, 4.0), USB-C and Thunderbolt.
Formerly known as SFF-8639, U.2 works for high-speed SSDs, enabling NVMe and SATA drives to connect seamlessly in enterprise systems.
Launch AOMEI Cloner. In the main interface, you will see three clone types, including "System Clone", "Disk Clone", and "Partition Clone". Here select "System Clone" for example.
AOMEI Cloner will automatically select your system partition as source. Just select the destination disk where you want to clone your system, and then click "Next".
You will access the "Operation Summary" window. Confirm the drive information and click "Start Clone". When cloning is complete, enter the BIOS or UEFI settings to set the new disk as the primary boot device.
When you have a compatible SSD ready, follow the steps:
1. Check OS, fix bad sectors, backup old HDD and connect the SSD with a USB-to-SATA adapter.
2. Choose "Disk Clone" in AOMEI Cloner, select the hard drive as the source disk, and the new SSD as the destination disk and proceed to perform the clone.
3. Boot your computer from the cloned SSD.
I used this software to clone my system to a new Samsung SSD, and it worked flawlessly. The process was simple, and it helped me migrate my OS easily. My new drive is now the primary boot drive, providing faster boot times and smoother performance. Highly recommend it for SSD upgrades!
Migrating my OS to an SSD has never been easier! This cloning software handled everything automatically, from creating the clone to optimizing my SSD. My PC is running faster than ever. If you’re planning to move your OS to a new drive, I highly recommend AOMEI Cloner.
I’ve tried various cloning tools, but AOMEI Cloner excelled at partition cloning. I needed to clone a data partition from my WD hard drive without affecting the rest of my system, and this software made it easy. It recognized my WD drive perfectly, unlike others. It’s the best solution for partition cloning!
As an IT manager, I face challenges unifying systems across different brands and disk types. This automatic cloning software has been a lifesaver. Its bootable system clone feature made it easy to copy the OS and custom settings across machines. The batch cloning process is efficient, saving significant time during deployment.
I was a bit hesitant at first, but the partition cloning feature really impressed me. I needed to move data to a larger partition without losing anything, and this software made it happen smoothly. It didn’t take long at all, and my files were all intact. My only complaint is the interface and text could be a bit bigger, but overall it’s a solid tool.
As a designer, I use large design programs like Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD, which require significant setup time and drive space. I needed a reliable way to clone my bootable system without losing software or settings, and this automatic cloning software excelled. It’s like a game-changer, seamlessly coping everything, from my OS to all design applications.
