Consecutive System Backups

I've used Aomei for many years but recently switched to the Pro version.  Is it usual for Aoemi to create two system backups before creating the differential backups I want?  That seems odd to me.  If that's unusual, how can I avoid the second system backup?

    Hello Ronnie. A full backup grabs all of the data, a differential only backs up the data changed since the last full backup, and an incremental backup only grabs new data since the last incremental backup. Every 6th incremental backup, it will do a full backup again.
    If you have additional questions, please reply with a screenshot of the problem.

    @OTRRonnie, Did you enable Backup Cleanup Plan and check the option "Create and Retain a full backup...."? If yes, it will create two full backups.
