Partition Assistant version number confusion

If I run the latest PartAssist.exe, help/about says it is version 10.4.1. But if I check properties/details I see 10.4.0. Normally this would be harmless, but it breaks the script I use to create a multi-boot USB key. (The script is checking to make sure I haven't messed up and gotten an old version. I can work around the problem.)
