Way 1. How to Recover Deleted Photos from Recently Deleted Album

First, we can go to Recently Deleted album to see if we can find the deleted photos. Everyone makes mistakes, and Apple gives us a chance to regret.

Usually, when we tap the trash can, the photos will disappear from the photo library but will go to the Recently Deleted album. They will stay there for 30 days before being permanently removed. You have the option to restore these photos before the deadline and the deleted photos will go back to your photo library just like you never deleted them.

1. Open Photos app on iPhone.

2. Tap Albums at the bottom > Scroll down to find Recently Deleted album under Utilities.

3. Go to Recently Deleted album and then you find all the photos you’ve deleted in the past 30 days.

4. Tap the Select button from the top right of the screen > Select the photos you want to recover.

5. Tap Recover button on the bottom right corner of the screen > Tap Recover XXX Photos on the pop-up window to confirm.

Way 2. How to Restore Deleted Photos on iPhone from iCloud.com

There’s a chance that you can restore deleted photos via iCloud.com. The deleted photos may have been uploaded to iCloud before. In addition, if you have iCloud Photos enabled when you deleted your photos, then the deleted photos will remain on the iCloud platform for 30 days.

1. Open a browser and go to iCloud.com.

2. Log in with your Apple ID and passcode.

Way 3. How to Restore Deleted Photos from iCloud/iTunes Backup

If you have backed up iPhone via iCloud or iTunes before, you can choose to restore deleted photos from backup. But you better make sure that the backup contains the photos you want. The restoration will erase all existing data on iPhone. The worst case is that you restored the backup but did not retrieve the photos you wanted.
