If you have upgraded from another Windows version to Windows 11, and you find that your battery will be charged to more than 100% when charging, then you are not alone. Other users have also encountered this same strange failure. They claim that the battery level is much higher than 100%, as if their battery has acquired a special ability.

Of course, this is just a joke from everyone. The reason for this problem is because of a bug in Windows 11. Fortunately, Microsoft has provided a repair patch build 22523 in the latest preview version.

Microsoft provided users who joined the Windows Insider program with the latest patch for this preview version, effectively solving this issue. But this patch has not been officially promoted to production equipment.

Microsoft explained: "The tooltip of the battery icon should no longer accidentally display a percentage of more than 100. At the same time, Microsoft has also fixed several other issues in Windows 11, including the settings application."

It was previously reported that starting from this version, Microsoft will continue to transition the classic control panel settings to the settings page. Therefore, it is vital for the company to make the new application work as smoothly as possible. This is why the recent preview version has provided so many improvements to the "Settings" interface.

The latest version can only be downloaded by Insider users who currently belong to the closed beta group.
