Snap Groups is supported by Windows 11, which is based on the Windows Snap feature of Windows 11. Snap Groups seems to be the biggest change to Snap since Windows 8.1, and it takes Windows 11 to a higher level.

You can create a Snap layout first, if you haven't tried it yet. You need to open multiple software on the desktop, then select the window you need to capture a part of the screen, and then drag it to the edge. Or, you can also move the mouse over the button and capture the open window.

These snapshot collections can be resized, so you can make one side bigger, and you can even have more than four apps in a square matrix (all apps get the same space on the screen). On Windows 11, when you move on the symbol, the patched applications will appear in the taskbar, as shown in the screenshot below.

In any case, this is not all, because Microsoft has made further improvements to it. Starting with Windows 11 Build 22494, the Redmond-based software giant is now testing snapshot group integration in Alt + Tab and Task View.

As you can see in the screenshot above, the snapshot is only displayed in the Alt + Tab UI, just like how these apps look when they drift on the taskbar. Thanks to this new change, you can now directly change applications instead of opening these applications individually, which makes it cumbersome to perform multiple tasks.

Obviously, if you don't need the Snap collection to display in Alt + Tab or drift on the taskbar symbol, you can usually end the blending by going to Windows settings. To invalidate the Snap bundle in Alt + Tab, please do as follows:

1. Open Settings.

2. Open System > Multitasking.

3. Uncheck the third option “Show snap layouts that the app is part of when I hover over the taskbar button when I press Alt+Tab and in Task View.

It is important that Microsoft is trying snap bunches in ALT + TAB and Task View for certain Windows Insiders. This isn't accessible to everybody and Microsoft could roll out more improvements to the element prior to pushing it out to everybody.

Notwithstanding Snap bunches incorporation, Microsoft has likewise tended to File Explorer or explorer.exe crashes experienced when utilizing windowing highlights like Snap, Alt+Tab, and work areas.
