Error 0xC1900101/0x80070002 when upgrading ASUS laptops to Windows 11
Recently, ASUS website released a solution for Windows 10 laptop upgrade Windows 11 error, which is mainly related to ASUS System Control Interface driver update.
ASUS says that once you are unable to upgrade your device OS from Windows 10 to Windows 11 with error code 0xC1900101 or 0x80070002 (as shown below), please update ASUS System Control Interface Driver to v3.0.22.0 / v1.0.46.0, then upgrade your operating system again.
Download and install the latest ASUS System Control Interface V3 driver
1. You can click here to download the latest ASUS System Control Interface V3 installer to your device.
2. After downloading the file, double-click the "ASUSSystemControlInterfaceV3.exe" file to start the installation.
3. Follow the Wizard's instructions to accept the license agreement and select "Install".
4. Finally, select "Finish" and reboot the device to complete the installation.
5. After rebooting, right click on Start and select Device Manager.
6. In the System Devices category, double-click "ASUS System Control Interface" and then select the "Driver" tab to view the "Driver Version".

2. After downloading the file, double click on the "ASUSSystemControlInterfaceV1.exe" file to start the installation.
3. The subsequent installation steps are as in the previous section, just follow the Wizard to complete the operation and reboot.
4. Afterwards, similarly, open the Device Manager and double click on "ASUS System Control Interface" in the Device category, then select the "Driver" tab to view the "Driver Version".
