Nowadays, more and more users have upgraded to Windows 11, but it is easier to encounter some problems when you first get started, and in serious cases, you can't even boot properly. This is when you may need to enter Safe Mode to troubleshoot.
Safe Mode is a diagnostic mode of a computer operating system designed to help resolve most problems within the operating system. In safe mode, the operating system has reduced functionality, but the task of isolating the problem is easier because many non-core components are disabled.
If the computer runs normally in Safe Mode, then you know that the default settings and basic device drivers are not the cause of the problem, while if the computer only boots in Safe Mode, it is likely that the disk is corrupted or that poorly configured software is installed.
Many computer veterans are used to observe the system performance by entering Safe Mode, and then narrow down the root cause of the problem and find a corresponding solution. So how do you enter Safe Mode in Windows 11? Here are 4 methods.
Method 1. Restart to Safe Mode from Start Menu

2. Repeat this process and after 3 forced shutdowns, you will be redirected to the Automatic Repair screen.
3. From there, you can click “Advanced options” >> “Troubleshoot” >> “Advanced options” >> “Startup Settings” >> “Restart”, and then press F4 to enter Safe Mode.
These are the 4 ways to enter Safe Mode on Windows 11, you can choose according to the actual state of your computer (such as whether it can log into Windows normally). Once you enter Safe Mode, you can test the performance of each operation to find the reason for the error to appear.
