The "Lid open action" is a feature built into many of today's laptops that automatically opens the screen when you open the lid, eliminating the need to press the power button. Due to hardware limitations and driver restrictions, not all laptops support this feature, and not all users like it. After all, we may sometimes just want to clean the screen or accidentally open the lid rather than actually starting the computer.
So how do you set up lid open Action? Here are the specific steps.
1. First, you need to open the Control Panel and then open the Power Options applet.
2. On the Power Options page, click “Change plan settings”.
3. In the next window, click “Change advanced power settings to open the Power Options window.
4. On the Power Options screen, click the plus sign next to "Power buttons and lid" to expand the menu, and then expand "Lid open action".

If you want to hide this option again, just change "-ATTRIB_HIDE" to "+ATTRIB_HIDE" in the above command and run it in Command Prompt again.
The above method may not apply to some laptops, so if it does work for you, you may need to change the setting in BIOS.
