Do not wait for Windows 11 22H1

Whenever Microsoft releases a new operating system, there is always a voice that advises you not to upgrade to the new version right away, but to wait a while until the early unstable bugs or problems are eliminated.

There is indeed some truth to this, because when a new system is released, Microsoft itself waits for user feedback and uses it as a basis to make adjustments and improvements. This makes many conservative Windows users accustomed to waiting until the first service pack is released and then upgrading directly to a new, more mature version of the OS.

However, this update strategy may not apply to Windows 11 - as there are currently more pending improvements to Win11, Microsoft is centralizing and fixing these issues, and this will result in some updates being delayed. Simply put, the big version will be updated annually. So you do not need to wait for Win11 22H1 for the time being.

The next full OS update is expected in October 2022

Microsoft is expected to make a major update to Windows 11 only in October 2022, which will give them more time to polish the system. But while the big update push gets slower, they will still provide the needed features and improvements through monthly cumulative update patches.

As Microsoft stated:

"New features and OS improvements from Windows Insider builds could show up in future Windows releases when they're ready, and we may deliver them as full OS updates or servicing releases."

The next full OS update is expected in October 2022, but "servicing releases," which are often referred to as cumulative updates, could come at any time. So at least some of the new features and changes that Microsoft is now testing in the Windows Insider development channel are also expected to be with us in early 2022.

For Win11 2022 version, in addition to officially bringing support for Android APK, adding a stronger custom start menu, and fixing residual bugs such as blue screen/printer, Microsoft also revealed that it will put a lot of effort into improving fluency, stability, etc. If you are interested, you may wait and see.
