Microsoft has announced that it plans to begin offering Windows 11 users a number of new updates and experiences next month, including an improved taskbar, new Notepad and Media Player, and even a public preview of Windows 11's Android app support features, also known as the Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA). All of these improvements are already available in the developer channel, which also means that next month these features will be generally available to all users running Windows 11.

This news also indicates Microsoft's willingness to introduce new features and improvements in Windows 11 outside of the major feature updates, with the next major feature update for Windows 11 (22H2) currently in development and not expected to be available until later this year.
Microsoft has not yet provided a specific date for when these updates will roll out next month, and in the meantime, Microsoft has announced that Windows 11 is entering the final stages of its rollout.
