Failed to write file

Installed AOMEI and did a system backup. After going through the backup I get a message "Failed to write file." The reason I installed AOMEI in the first place was because after I upgraded to Windows 10 my Seagate Backup Manager couldn't see my external Freeagent drive. Apparently AOMEI can't either. I can access the drive with explorer and can add files to it. It is drive J on my system. Does anyone know what I have to do to make my backup software see it?
