Hi there,
I have a C: System Backup on an external hard drive. Suppose my hard drive C: is bad
Will the backup of System C: loaded on a new hard drive restore the functioning of the PC?
Or do you have to clone the hard drive from time to time to regain PC operation?
Thank you in advance for your answers
Phil

  • @Phil71, Yes, you can restore the system backup to a new disk, and then boot the new disk.
You can create a WinPE bootable media of AOMEI Backupper, then boot the computer from WinPE media to do a restore.
