unable to get the backup information because the image file does not exist, or it can not be accesse

For some unknown reason today when I clicked on my "basic sync" backup plans (I have three of them), I get the above message: 
"unable to get the backup information because the image file does not exist, or it can not be accessed"
I am sure I have not deleted anything with regards to Aomei. How can I find the image file again, and start my regular daily backup?

    You could recreate the sync task, if it is no longer working.

    Use Windows Explorer to go to where you originally setup the image sync to go.
    If you forgot where you set it up, or you cannot find it in Windows Explorer, you could use a 3rd party tool.

    Please use caution, you can find your files, but it also gives you the option of moving or deleting them.

  • @Aomaom, Where did you save the backup image files to? If the backup destination location is an external drive, please check if the drive letter is changed. If yes, please change to the original drive letter. Or, you can delete the backup task, and then manually load the backup image file from the new path to re-import backup tasks.   • This issue of not being able to restore backups as there is 'no image file' and Aomei saying the file is corrupt so tough luck is completely unacceptable.  I see posts from 2017 with this same issue.  It is nonsense that ALL my backups are corrupt.  Full backups and partials.  Aomei, you must make a repair and recovery tool.  Now.  Today.  Please.
