Handle count goes up while idle - ABService

We have two Windows 2022 Server DataCenter 21H2 virtually configured identically. We discovered from Task Manager / CPU that one server had about 10 million handles and the other had about 6 million handles. Normally, this value is about 50-60 thousand. After updating to the latest version of AOMEI Backupper (7.2.0 to 7.3.3) then handle count went back to normal. After a few backups the handle count was way up again. While we did an upgrade, stopping and restarting the ABService frees the handles.

Digging deeper, in Task Manager, selected Details tab, display Handles and the count is constantly increasing, perhaps one a second. Backupper is not active (i.e. nothing scheduled running).

I have attached a windows document with screen images showing the issue, i.e. handle count before and after.
