Allow User to reset serial number
It appears like registration is a one time event. If that is true and you uninstall Aomei Backupper PRO from your computer and either move it to a different machine or you reinstall it on your present machine registration using the same serial number will fail requiring you to obtain assistance from your support group. Would it be possible to modify your code so that the user can un-register the serial number before un-installing Aomei Backupper? Or store the unique machine identifier so that the registration process will accept the serial number on the original registered machine more than once?

I just use a cracked pirated version to make my life easier and wont purchase any more until this license issue is fixed. People who buy licenses are treated with distrust.
So again How long it will take till I get the answer to my email?
So I have to ask them again. I find that AOMEI provides support just only via email is simply not enough. Customers do not have to wait for ages till the solution to a problem that is very simple, turns into a big problem.
what is your meaning of "near future"?
Your responds is from december and now we will start with may in a few days ...
I am going back to Acronis, much easier to handle ....
I have program called reWASD which also ties to the system, but it allows you to revoke on the website. Why can't AOMEI have a similar system in place?
I am totally agree with you.
You hit the point. I am running also in the pitfall yesterday.
Changing the cpu an bang license inactive.
I can't understand why they want to sit it out.
The topic is very old and every day I read about it again that someone has the problem.
Are you really ignoring the wishes of the customer here?
Crack soft cannot be the solution, but I can understand it.
Do me a favor and pay more attention to the wishes of your paying customers. All good software also lives from word of mouth, but if you don't see it that way, don't be surprised if blogs and forums report negatively about it.
That's my two cents
If purchasing your software legally requires jumping through a bunch of hoops that i wouldn't have encountered had i illegitimately downloaded it from a peer-to-peer site, why would you ever expect me to buy your software again in the future?
That is simple but its nagging to this everytime when you change somthing on the hardware
or you must porting the Soft to another PC.
Thats the theme in this discussion, why it must be possible to deaktivate the licence by the user itself.

Well, here it is 10 months later and it seems you still have the archaic non-customer-friendly activation system. I have been messing around with my SteamDeck and used one of my "lifetime licenses" on it. Well, a few OS installs later and it is telling me I have used the activation code too many times. The resolution on my screen?
"Please buy a new license code to register it"
No, I don't believe I will do that.
It's not 2005 anymore. For the love of god, you need a proper license management system where the user can deactivate on their own to transfer registration when upgrading a system or even just doing a nice fresh OS install. Less work for your support staff and less pissing off paying customers.
I have a second Aomei license that is fine and I know I can likely contact support and have my dead code revived but really, I think it is time to hit the high seas.
Acabo de pedir uma reinstalaçao da minha licença em um novo computador, vou ver em quanto tempo serei atendido e volto aqui para informar a todos.
Muito obrigado a todos.
and as for contacting support to help ive seen snails move quicker
Yes I do agree with you all And furthermore I believe their thieves No longer able to use AOMEI pro Without registering it After I paid for it There is no other software company that I've dealt with that I have had this problem I was very surprised when it happened to me the first time Because there was no Caution Notice Mention Before I purchased the Lifetime MY ASS Edition software. Being a computer troubleshooter I had no idea what was going on Until I came to this site, I see now That I'm not the only one that has encountered this problem And I will be trying to find A solution Other than when I enter my key My key is Being sent to a terminal And has nothing to do with my computer So not being connected To the Internet I will not be able to use the key In any case Paying for a product And not receiving it as mentioned I believe it's fraud And certainly not legal In Canada The US And Mexico "North America" Especially when it is Mentioned Lifetime There should not be any limit To reinstall it on the same computer. I don't know the legality of them doing this But to me this product as is should be blocked Band from being sold in North America And any other Countries that have similar laws to fraud When it mentions lifetime. When I purchased Dos And Windows 3.1 And Ect. To Windows 11 There was no mention of lifetime But was still able to reinstall it.
Yes people This is fraud Not advising you That when you purchase the product that you will have problems Not being able to use the key again. In the meantime that authorities see to this.
I will try and spread the Information to as many people as I can.
