Can't backup => Information Code: 4140
Hi,
I just wanted to create my first Backup => System Backup => Step1 => *:Data & C: => Setp2 H:\
H:\ is an USB-Drive NTSF 1TB more than 700 GB free.
I used the default settings, VSS switched off.
But I get:
Backup is initializing...
Backing up the information of storage device...
Backing up of the volume 0...
Backing up data...
Backing up of the volume 0 done.
Backing up of the volume 1 (C:)...
Information Code:4140
The backup driver works improperly, you could restart the computer to solve the problem.
Ok - I checked the H:-drive with chkdsk using your Partition Assistant and found no Error:
Ueberpruefen (H:), bitte warten Sie einige Sekunden oder Minuten...

PS: Now I am try to create a what-ever (System Image or Backup?) with your OneKey Recovery of Data: & C: on H: and it seems I have no problem with H: - VSS is switched off on my PC!
This is the actual state:
Marking system partition...
Creating Windows PE...
Adjusting partition layout to save backup image...
Creating boot...
Backup is initializing...
Backing up the information of storage device...
Backing up of the volume 0...
Backing up data...
Backing up of the volume 0 done.
Backing up of the volume 1 (C:)...
Backing up data...
PPS: After this last Backup has been finished I was able to use your Backupper to
1) check the integrety of the image-file
2) to explore their content.
To bring all together
1) Backupper couldn't create a system image due to 4140
2) OneKey Recovery did create the system image on that usb-drive (H:\)
3) Backupper now can access the image-file on H:\ ..

Is it possible for you to repost the upperfilters.exe file. ? I am see a 4140 error on a windows 8.1 professional pc.
It appears not to be available from the google drive link.
Regards
Robert
Or, there is no "UpperFilters"?
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Pk8X0Kq2Vq71HFzZJE8IHc3BEtuU_2oj/view?usp=drivesdk
it will create the upperfilters key automatically.
After installation, please reboot the computer to do backup again and check if you will get error code 4140.
